What they are and what they do

An Autoresponder (AR) is the email version of fax-on-demand. You send a blank email to the AR's address, and the AR automatically sends back, to your email address, an email with whatever information (ad, report, course lesson, newsletter, etc.) is stored in that particular AR. And this happens automatically - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week instantly. Instant Information!

The above example is the simplest form of AR. You send a blank email to an AR, and you get back the information on that AR.

AR prices can vary from "free" to $20 per month or more. It all depends on the features and service they provide. Free ARs will always have someone else's advertising on them. In many cases, there can be so much advertising that it is difficult to find the information that was actually requested. I find free ARs are not worth the price (free) because they only serve to confuse your client and often resent getting the information they did not expect or request.

Autoresponder Features

• An instant personalized Autoresponder! You can personalize each message by using the Fields [FIRSTNAME] , [LASTNAME], [EMAIL] , [DATE] and more in the SUBJECT line, or anywhere in the body of your TEXT message(s). This means that your message requested by John Doe can start out like "Thank you John for requesting this information."
  
  
• TWENTY FOUR follow up messages! This is ideal for implementing a course you may be offering. You can setup as many as 24 automatic follow-up messages to go to the person who requested the initial information from your AR in the first place. You can make these follow-up messages go out automatically, in any day increment you want, based on the previous message. For example, if you have a newsletter that you want to send out to your list of subscribers once a week or once a month, you just set the number of days between messages to that interval, like 7 days or 30 days or whatever you want. The person who is getting the messages has the option to unsubscribe at any time.
  
  
• Unlimited number of leads! There is no limit to the number of people that can request your information.
  
  
• Automatically builds a mailing list! This is perhaps one of the most important features of this AR system. Every time someone requests your information from your AR, their email is automatically recorded and entered in a list that you can access at any time. When someone from your list unsubscribes, their name is automatically removed from your list. This is a great way to build your own mailing list and keep it current with no effort in your part.
  
  
• Automatic notice! Every time someone requests your information from your AR, you are automatically sent a notice by email with the person's name, email address, and any message they may have entered in the AR request.
